SUPERHEROES
A superhero is a heroic character having incredible powers, extraordinary abilities. The role of a superhero is to protect people, to save the world from evil forces....The first superheroes appeared in the 1930's in American comic books. The most famous American publishers are DC Comics and Marvel. Superheroes' costumes are often red and blue so as to remind us of the American Flag. Wonderwoman even has stars on her costume.
Apart from their superpowers, superheroes often have a costume (mask, cape, belt, helmet) and accessories such as a fast car, a laser beam....Moreover, they often have a friend, a helper (Robin for Batman), a girlfriend (Lois Lane for Superman) and an arch enemy (The Joker, the Penguin for Batman, Lex Luther for Superman, the Green Goblin for Spiderman....).
