BERLIN - A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT
Buying cheap tee-shirts on a Berlin's street...for 2 Euros only ! That's possible thanks to a vending machine that has been installed on Alexanderplatz in Berlin.
Many customers tried it and when they put a 2-Euro coin in the machine, they did not receive the tee shirt. They were showed images of women and children working in hard conditions to make the tee-shirts. The images went along with statistics (wages, working hours...)
In the end, people could decide whether they wanted to buy the tee-shirt or give 2 euros to a charity.
